I started with a Very Vanilla card and added a Pool Party oval scallop with a More Amore Specialty dsp oval on top of that. Both were diecut using the Oval Collection Framelits. The banner use a sentiment from Seasonal Sayings, a carryover from the Holiday Catalog, and two of the large rhinestone jewels. I finished the card with a knot of satin Pool Party ribbon (a Sale-a-Bration offering you may select for free with a $50 purchase starting January 22), and a couple of stamped and die-cut hearts that are adhered with dimensionals.
I made a ribbon wreath using an 10-inch wire form and 7-8" lengths of retired ribbon knotted onto the frame in current colors - Rose Red, Bashful Blue, Tempting Turquoise and Real Red - and thought the Hearts a Flutter stamp set and framelits would make a great banner! You can see a couple of clear vintage buttons on the banner, as well as a silver basics button (I love those!). The hearts and banners are held together with white baker's twine.
Here's one last look at the card. My club members are making it this month. The wreath and card will look great in my studio. My bestie, Kim, came over for a few hours and helped me take down the Christmas decorations, clean, and put up some Valentine decorations today. Now it's time for you to travel on to the next blog, Justin over at JK Cards. Have fun and enjoy your day!

I love the wreath! What an awesome job! And that card, I keep looking at it. I wasn't going to get that Love phrase but now.... ugh I might need it. LOL
Wow - what a great job on the wreath. Love the card too! Thank you for sharing!
The wreath is fantastic! I think I might have some of the retired ribbon around to give it a try too. I love the card and even though I don't have the stamp I might just have to case the layout. Thanks for sharing!
Your wreath is awesome!!! Great way to use up some of that retired ribbon :) And I love your card! I think I'm going to have to case it for one of my Valentines.
Note to self - add More Amore DSP and Oval Framelits to my upcoming order...I am in love with the Valentine's Day card!! So pretty! And your ribbon wreath is gorgeous! I am loving the banner you added in front of it. Love, love, love...

Woh fabulous creations. I have to say that at first I didn't like the Amore papers that much but now I changed my mind after seeing your card. :)
Hugs, Rosalien
