Cards for this month's clubs...

This is the first time I used the Joyful Season letterpress plate. It was easy! I have the Regal Collection of craft Stampin' Spots, so I just took the Cherry Cobbler spot to the stockings and Always Artichoke spot to the dots and sentiment. The directions for how to run the letterpress plates comes with them - the Big Shot "sandwich" is the multi-purpose platform, the letterpress plate, card stock, then cutting pad. The ink was dry to the touch immediately after running it through the Big Shot.

We used a knot of Always Artichoke seam binding on the left, and created the cardinal using the Two-Step Bird Punch (one bird and two wings) and Two-Step Owl Punch (for the black heart). I got the directions here.

For this second card, I used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, the Day of Gratitude stamp set, and Elegant Soiree dsp. The largest stamp features the Rock & Roll Technique - I inked the stamp in Bashful Blue, then rolled the edges in Soft Suede before stamping it on Very Vanilla card stock - and added an antique brad in the center. I used the same colors in markers to ink up the acorn, cut it out and adhered it with a dimensional over the ovals. The sentiment is from Upsy Daisy. I copied this card from Connie Tumm.

For the final club card, we used an embossing folder with a half circle of Jolly Holiday dsp for the tree, and the Seasonal Sentiments stamp set for the phrase. I CASE'd this idea from Connie Babbert, substituting a photo corner for the rhinestones. Other accessories used include: 1-1/4" Old Olive striped grosgrain, Glimmer Brads Basics, and Linen Thread.
