A little Label Love for Mosaic Madness

I love the look of Coastal Cabana and Baked Brown Sugar colors together. I used them with the Mosaic Madness stamp set and coordinating punch and embossing folder. This card is a CASE of one by fellow SU! demosntrator Marika Lemay. The scalloped Coastal Cabana card stock at the bottom was diecut using the Tasteful Trim die in the Big Shot, and the sentiment is from Label Love and punched with the Artisan Label punch. Hope you enjoy!

All of these wonderful items are available to you day and night by ordering through my Online Store at http://TheRubberRoom.stampinup.net. And I have a great deal for you this month.

Everybody who orders Tag It from me by August 31 will have their name entered into a drawing for the Pretty Print Textured Impressions Embossing Folder in the Holiday Catalog. I'll announce the winner on Sept. 1 AND if you use the following hostess code, you'll also be eligible to win the hostess benefits - GGQ2GJ3A.

I found this adorable child's suitcase at a garage sale awhile back. The size is perfect for a weekend or overnight trip to Grandma's house. Cheerful, no?

Amazing cell phone purse and charming note

My dear friend Kim has some mad skills! Look how cute and functional this bag is. Kim sewed cell phone purses with an extra pocket for credit cards and ID for me and members of my American Ink downline who attended convention - 11 in all. Mine also shows off a sneak peek of the burlap ribbon in the Holiday Catalog, which starts August 1.

Thank you so much, bestie! You rock!!! As a side note, it was a very exciting time for Kim this past week - three of her goats were pregnant and ready to pop. She's got five new kids, two boys and three girls. She's thrilled! And her farm is bustling with activity, with the animals and the garden.

I never finished showing swaps from our last American Ink gathering. This 3" x 3" note was designed by Holly, one of my downline now living in Pennsylvania. I love how bright and cheerful it is. It uses Mosaic Madness, Quattrefancy designer paper and the Mosaic embossing folder. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Banners.

I'd love to have you join my American Ink team. We have alot of fun! And we have a Stampin' Retreat coming up Aug. 9-11 at my studio. I'm prepping a couple of 3d projects for everybody, and I'll have totes of cards to make as a service project benefitting our troops and a local nursing home. You may bring whatever projects you wish to work on and use my stamps, inks, Big Shot and accessories, paper cutters and so much more! It'll save you lugging tons of stuff around. lol

Embossed Mosaic Madness swap

The Crisp Cantaloupe color with white and Crumb Cake feel so crisp to me... refreshing. I love cards like this during the summer. This was Puddin's swap. She's my friend and downline. Stamps from the Mosaic Madness set were used, as well as the Modern Mosaic embossing folder. I love that she cut along the embossed lines on the white layer. It's so pretty.

Mosaic Madness with Strawberry Slush

I love the look of Smoky Slate and Strawberry Slush together. This was another quick card at a 10-card class last week. I embossed the 5" x 3-3/4" Whisper White layer with the Modern Mosaic folder before adding punched and inked images from the Mosaic Madness stamp set with dimensionals. I added rhinestones for a little sparkle, and a banner with a sentiment from Sweet Essentials.

Mosaic Madness and Secret Garden make and takes

A handful of rhinestones add sparkle to this card, which was a make and take Kim brought for our demonstrator gathering this past weekend. The Mosaic Madness stamp set has a coordinating embossing folder and punch. Love it!

Mary Ann brought a Wisteria Wonder and Eggplant Envy Secret Garden card. The sentiment is from Blooming with Kindness. We colored the flowers with ink pads and a blender pen, then added 2-way glue and Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the center of each flower.

My group is wonderful! Some of the demos volunteer to bring projects for everyone to make, some bring food (we had a very nice spread Saturday!), and swapping cards is always optional and fun! We're winding down the number of days left to order from the current catalogs (annual and Spring), so if there's something you want, order it soon. You may always order thru my Online Store at http://TheRubberRoom.stampinup.net.

Finally, this Friday is when Kim and I are setting up our 10' x 10' booth at the Heirloom Rubber Stamp and Paper Arts Festival in Puyallup at the fairgrounds. We'll be right up front with our shabby chic/vintage furnishings holding a ton of retired stamps, punches, ribbons, and so much more! I hope you can join us this Saturday or Sunday (or both!). Have a wonderful day!!!

American Ink swaps with sneak peeks and a mini ironing board

The new Quatrefancy Specialty designer paper really stands out on this white card. I stamped a long stamp from Mosaic Madness in Pool Party. In hindsight, I think Island Indigo would've been a better choice. Anyway, I used one of the framelits from Apothecary Accent Framelits for the sentiment from Sassy Salutations.

Barb's swap uses the Honeycomb embossing folder and smallest butterfly punch. The card is Soft Suede with Calypso Coral and new In Color Crisp Cantaloupe. The sentiment is from Bring on the Cake.

Frankie's swap uses the new Wildflower Meadow single stamp (she did an incredible amount of coloring with markers - amazing!), and the coordinating embossing folder with the same name. The sentiment is from Petite Pairs.

Kim's swap uses the new Mosaic Madness stamp set, Mosaic Punch, along with the Modern Mosaic Textured embossing folder. "You're Amazing" comes from the stamp set with that same name.

Mary Ann's swap uses Floral Fusion Sizzlits, and a sentiment from the Perfectly Penned stamp set.

I really enjoy myself at these get-togethers. I'm planning a group retreat August 10-11 at my studio. I'll be prepping a couple of projects for everyone who shows up, as well as prepping random cards for everybody to make as a service project for our troops and a local nursing home.

Of course I have to share this adorable mini ironing board. That little wooden piece locks the leg in, so it doesn't collapse; otherwise, it does collapse to store easily. The "iron"ic thing - I don't iron. lol

Happy Mother's Day to all of my friends! I hope you have a wonderful day of laziness.
