I can't resist a cute, fake spider with big googly eyes. Of course, real spiders aren't cute. They probably wouldn't stick to a card with dimensionals, either, but who wants to try?
I started with a Basic Gray card base, and built on that with a Basic Black layer and a piece of Howlstooth & Scaringbone dsp. I used Retrosketches #31 for the card design:
The Retrosketches #31 challenge ends Friday, Oct. 5, at 11:59 p.m., so you still have time!
Check out this cool spider web! I embossed the web on Basic Gray card stock, then rubbed the Illuminate pad over the top. It actually looks irridescent like a web, in real life. I love that!
Here's one more shot of the whole card. I layered the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch at the bottom, and used Jet Black StazOn ink. This is the beginning of Week 10 of The Great Pumpkin Blog Hop! Do you believe it? Halloween is just a few weeks away!!! It's so exciting.
Add your Halloween
creation to the blog hop, along with the code near the bottom of each post. When
you add the code to your blog while you are in the edit HTML mode, your readers
can play along, leave comments, and view the samples right from YOUR

At the end
of 13 weeks, one person will get a $50 Stampin' Up! gift
certificate! The more times you enter the blog hop, the better your
chances of taking home the Grand Prize. You also get a ticket just for
displaying The Great Pumpkin Blog Hop badge on your blog. Whoo hoo!
