Peace on Earth and Label Card Thinlit

This sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set is one of my holiday favorites. I paired it with the Label Card Thinlit for a quick and easy card.

I started with a 6" x 6" piece of Island Indigo card stock and added a 1-1/4" strip of Winter Frost Specialty Paper (one of the shiny patterns). Then I used a snowflake stamp from the Just Believe set in White Craft Ink to add my own pattern on the left. This was one of the designs at my 10-card Christmas class yesterday. I had a great group of women there and truly enjoyed the afternoon.

Just Believe thank-you card by Linda

My friend, Linda, brought by this card for me when she brought back a punch. I love how simple and cute it is! She used the Just Believe stamp set with all of the new In Colors. Thank YOU, Linda!

Just Believe embossed butterflies card

I enjoy making cards that may be used for many occasions, and I think this one fits the bill. I can see giving it to someone for her birthday, or bridal shower or wedding card, as a get well card, or a thank-you card.

I'd love to take credit, but that goes to Mary Brown, whom I CASE'd. I used Pink Pirouette card stock and Whisper White that was run through the Finial Press embossing folder. The butterflies are from an embosslit, with a single pearl on each for embellishments. The stamps are from the Just Believe set, one of my favorites.

Simple cards you can make in minutes...

These are the five cards we made at my stamp-a-stack on Thursday. Everyone made two of each (it goes faster that way!). The top one uses the stamp set Homegrown. Below, A Flower for all Seasons (a set you may get FREE thru March 31 when you place a $50 order) and a sentiment from Trendy Trees with Sunny Garden dsp.

The birthday card features Bring on the Cake, from the Occasions Mini Catalog, with pompom trim, piercing and the Scallop Border Punch. I CASE'd it from the mini! Below, Just Believe with pearls in Garden Green and Perfect Plum. The dsp is from the Woodland Walk package.

These Whisper White cards use Early Espresso ink, the Scallop Trim Border Punch and a strip of Greenhouse Gala dsp. You can see the flip side below. The bunny is from The Nicest Things stamp set, along with the words above. The "Happy Easter" is from Teeny, Tiny Wishes.

Have a Seat to celebrate a birthday...

I'm excited to see all of the new followers on this blog. Thanks for being here!

Here are two more cards from my Birthday Card Stamp-a-Stack last night. The top one is Garden Green card stock with Woodland Walk dsp, and uses the Have a Seat stamp set, the eyelet border punch and Deck the Hall designer buttons.
This card features the Just Believe stamp set with a birthday greeting from the Level 1 hostess set Afterthoughts. The colors are a departure from my norm, but I kinda like them. The card is Not Quite Navy, with a Top Note die cut from Sahara Sand. The words were stamped in Early Espresso on Pumpkin Pie, with 5/8" Pumpkin Pie satin ribbon. It's a great birthday card for a guy - until you add the rhinestones.

Just Believe rhinestone card in Marina Mist

I stamped so much last weekend - it was a blast! I'm digging the Just Believe stamp set. It's definitely my go-to stamp set when I need something fast. I love that the main image may be stamped on the card, inside the card, and on the envelope. I never get tired of looking at it. This card is just Whisper White and Marina Mist.

Just Believe mini card holder...

This is another make & take I stamped at convention. I like the folder idea with the mini tag, but am not fond of the tiny cards inside. I think adding the mini card to at least a 3" x 3" Love Note is a better option... at least for me! The main stamp set used is Just Believe.

Just Believe watercolor card...

This was my most favorite project at convention.

We started with a 6" square piece of Not Quite Navy. There's a layer of Bashful Blue card stock under the top layer that was torn around the top and right sides.

We used markers to ink up the Just Believe rubber on the biggest stamp, then spritzed it with water before stamping it. It's so pretty! It does take a little time to dry before you can stamp the "thank you."

We used the Color Spritzer and Not Quite Navy marker to "spray" the top layer too.

We tore the edges and added a 5/8" piece of Old Olive satin ribbon with a button (held on with a mini glue dot).

Just Believe 3" x 3" card...

This was one of the make & takes we stamped at convention a couple of weeks ago.

We started with a 3" x 6" piece of Whisper White, folded in half (Love Note size).

We started by laying a circle (cut with the Circles die for the Big Shot) over the front of the card and sponging on Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait, and Daffodil Delight first. Then we stamped the foliage (I kept the circle guide in place), and then the sentiment in Early Espresso.

I ended up sponging around the outside to cover up a boo-boo, but I think it looks nice. Don't you?

Just Believe in Concord Crush (revised)...

Doesn't this card look much better with the flowers stamped and then punched?

In the original card below, I just used the Boho Blossoms Punch on Concord Crush card stock.

For this revised card, I stamped the flowers from the Level 1 hostess set Punch Potpourri in Concord Crush and then punched them out. There's lots more details, and I think it's so much better looking.

Just Believe in Concord Crush...

Here's my first take on a card that features the Just Believe stamp set, as well as In Colors Concord Crush and Pear Pizzazz.

You'll find my revised version later today. That's the one we made at my stamp-a-stack last night.

This card is Whisper White, with a 5-1/4" x 4" layer of Concord Crush on top. The Concord Crush poly stitch ribbon is knotted around the top two layers.

The large foliage stamp was stamped in Pear Pizzazz, then I used the Boho Blossoms Punch to add those flowers to the plant, adding different sized rhinestones in each center.

Just Believe thank-you card...

Just Believe is a new and gorgeous stamp set in the 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog.

One of my downline, Cheryl, won our American Ink 3d contest a couple of months ago and could select whatever she wanted from the catalog. I sent off her prize last week. In return, she sent me this beautiful card, made of Pear Pizzazz and Poppy Parade card stocks, 1/2" poly stitch Poppy Parade ribbon, and "bling" - Irridescent Ice embossing powder.

Just Believe vintage card...

I love the softness of the Chantilly lace and the vintage look that and the antique brad give this card.

I CASE'd this card from the catalog. This card is Crumb Cake with a layer of Always Artichoke. The large floral image from Just Believe was stamped in Crumb Cake, while the sentiment was inked with markers and then punched using the 1-3/4" Circle Punch. It's adhered with dimensionals over the lace.
