O Holy Night Christmas card

O Holy Night is a single Christmas stamp that says so much - especially when you highlight a word with a banner! It's also one of my favorite Christmas songs.

I used a sketch challenge when designing this card, starting with a Very Vanilla card base, adding a square of Soft Suede card stock and strips of Pink Pirouette and Crisp Cantaloupe. Note: The card looks better if the strips are embossed (I used the Square Lattice embossing folder) and the brown layer is not. I cut a rectangle, rounded the top corners and added a knot of crochet trim. This is card design 10 - the last one! - from my 20-card class. Tomorrow, I'll share cards from my 10-card Christmas class this morning.

Congrats to Kelly!
She's the winner of my Oct. 1 drawing for hostess benefits!

To order O Holy Night (item 131835 clear, $10.95; item 131832 wood, $13.95), please visit my Online Store at http://therubberroom.stampinup.net. I've got a new hostess code for October - VEHSYQRR. Use it on any and every Online Order this month and you'll be entered into a drawing for the hostess goodies at my Nov. 1 drawing.

Hope you have a wonderful day!
