A perfect gift using handmade cards

I love the Gift Bow die for the Big Shot! My favorite bow mixes designer paper with card stock, topped with an embellishment.

At my American Ink retreat a couple of months ago, one of my downline - Frankie - showed us how to make a cute card holder using only one piece of 8-1/2" x 11" card stock. Mine uses Strawberry Slush card stock with a couple scraps of Polka Dot Parade designer paper and some Rich Razzleberry card stock with an In Color Boutique Details embellishment (item 130938, $8.95 for 20 pieces).

Edited to add: Here's a link to a full photo tutorial on how to make this box!

The card box easily holds 6 cards and envelopes, and there's room for a tag to hang from the Gift Bow (a Big Shot die - item 129977, $32.95 in the Holiday Catalog). Who wouldn't love to receive a gift like this? If you make cards like I do, you have plenty sitting around to fill all kinds of card boxes!

To order, please visit my Online Store at You can add any of the Weekly Deals, Clearance Rack items, digital downloads or any other Stampin' Up! offering. You'll also be entered into a drawing for FREE Stampin' Up! product when you do. Thanks!
