Cozy Christmas CASE

 

These are not your typical Christmas colors. I think that's why I like it so much. I used Night of Navy, Real Red and Hello Honey markers to ink up this sentiment from the Cozy Christmas stamp set in the 2015 Holiday Catalog.

 

This card layout is a CASE from the Holiday Catalog - I just changed up the colors and used the Season of Cheer designer series paper (dsp). I also hand-cut the banner. And the gift bow is from the punch of the same name. You need to punch the Night of Navy card stock twice to get enough pieces to make one bow. It's assembled with mini glue dots.

Weekly Deals

Happy first day of September! My daughter's not too excited about going back to school tomorrow. I can't blame her. It's raining and overcast and is already feeling like summer is over. I guess it is. My son's classes don't start till Sept. 21, so he's living life large - i.e. sleeping in.

I've been doing a lot of yard work over the past couple of weeks. The rain/wind storm brought down a lot of branches, as well as apples and plums from our trees. Those are cleaned up. I trimmed a bunch of errant branches yesterday and swept the front porch and walkway. The flowering plants my daughter and I planted are doing very well. They add so much color - I love it!
