Lovely as a Tree Christmas card

Lovely as a Tree stamp set has been around for many, many years. And yet it still is relevant and beautiful for cards such as this one.

This Pear Pizzazz card has a layer of Lost Lagoon card stock and All is Calm Specialty Designer Paper. The tag uses the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch with the large pine from Lovely as a Tree stamped in Pear Pizzazz with a sentiment from Good Greetings. I CASE'd the layout from http://kristenstamps.typepad.com.

Tag me for Festival of Trees

Lost Lagoon and Old Olive look fabulous together! And those silver glimmer stars are so sparkly.

This card uses Lost Lagoon ink, ribbon and card stock, as well as the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, Word Window and Tree punches, and designer paper from the All is Calm Specialty pack. I saw this card on Pinterest by Glenda Calkins from http://www.thestampcamp.com/blog.

It's a Bermuda Bay Christmas

The Festival of Trees stamp set with coordinating punch is super quick and easy to use for Christmas cards. Like this one.

I started with a Whisper White card and stamped the sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink before embossing the card front with the big polka dots. The tree was stamped in Pool Party, then the dots stamped over it in Bermuda Bay. A silver foil star with a bow of twine finishes the card. I CASE'd most everything except the tree color from http://jillsink.com.

Motoring on with a White Christmas stamp set

This car from the White Christmas photopolymer stamp set really resonates with me because my family had a red station wagon when I was a kid. Eight of s fit in that thing. Fond memories.

I started with a Soft Sky card and added a piece of All is Calm Specialty Designer Series Paper with a knot of 1/8" silver taffeta ribbon. All of the stamped images are from the White Christmas stamp set. It really is a great bargain at only $15.95. I made three different cards with the set for my most recent 20-card class that I'll be sharing in the near future. I used the silver painty pen for the hubcaps, and the 2" circle punch.

You may order any of the above items via http://therubberroom.stampinup.net anytime you wish! Have a fabulous day.

Invite your Freaky Friends for Halloween

Green witch. Check. Popped up bat. Check. Halloween fun card. Check! I do love Halloween - the costumes, the fun and the candy!!!

I started with an Old Olive card, embossed on the right with the Decorative Dots embossing folder. There's a 2-1/2" x 5-1/2" strip of Sweet Taffy designer series paper, with a black strip of card stock. I used the Starburst Framelits for the black layer behind the witch. She's from the Freaky Friends stamp set, as is the bat, and the greeting is from the Tee-Hee-Hee photopolymer stamp set.

I'm looking forward to a 10-card class this morning. And I'm happy for my kids that they have a 4-day weekend coming up, due to teacher conferences starting Thursday. Life is good! Hope yours is, too.

Autumn birthday with Tag Talk

Tag Talk is a great stamp set because you can use punches for all of the greetings. This one was inked using Mossy Meadow and Cajun Craze markers.

Isn't this paper gorgeous? I love the colors of fall. This paper is called Color Me Autumn dsp and you'll find it in the 2014 Holiday Catalog. I added a little knot of ribbon and a layer of Crushed Curry on the Cajun Craze card base and that's it.

I made caramel apples for the first time ever for my kids and hubby. I think they look pretty fabulous! I kept it simple - with a pear cinnamon caramel a friend sent me. It smells great.

Enjoy your Monday! I always have many errands to do. lol

Shining White Christmas

The photopolymer stamp set White Christmas, in the 2014 Holiday Catalog, is easily my favorite this year. It has so many stamps in it for a great price!

I used the Circle Thinlit Framelit for my last 20-card class, where I keep the designs of the cards clean and simple. The silver foil snowflake is punched from a retired punch, and the strip of designer paper is from the All is Calm pack.

With the Circle Thinlit, the circle swings around when you open the card, so you can stamp your "inside" message and write a note there. Quick and easy, eh?

My kids have early release today from school. They're happy, and I'm happy for them! I hope you have a wonderful day.

I'm dreaming of a White Christmas

I'm enjoying the simplicity and inexpensiveness of the White Christmas photopolymer stamp set.

This starts with a Whisper White card, with a 5-1/4" x 4" layer of Whisper White (popped up with dimensionals after being stamped and colored). I used Jet Black StazOn for all of the images, adding Marina Mist on the banner and for snowy lines, and a little Real Red to the fussy-cut cardinal. The 1/8" Marina Mist ribbon is retired.

You can see all of the fabulous images in the stamp set below. I'll have an order going in Monday night, if you'd like to add to it to save on shipping, email it to me. Or, you may just place your own order via my Online Store at http://therubberroom.stampinup.net. Thanks!

"stache-ing" through the snow

How can you not love that cheery Santa face with the big, curly mustache? I used Real Red and Blush Blossom markers to color Santa's face and hat.

This Garden Green card uses a strip of Real Red card stock with a skinnier strip of Nordic Noel Designer Series Paper. The sentiment is from the Santa Stache stamp set, as is the Santa. The words stamped on a Whisper White strip, cut like a banner and stapled on. This card is CASE'd from fellow SU! demo Cynthia Richards here: http://www.inkadoodlecreations.blogspot.com/2014/09/stache-ingly-fun-christmas.html.

I'm taking this as my swap to my Stampin' Up! group gathering tomorrow, along with a Crock Pot of chili. Yum! We haven't met for a couple of months, so I'm looking forward to seeing everybody. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

It's a Festival of Trees

Create an entire forest easily with the Festival of Trees bundle. You get a 15% discount when you buy the Festival of Trees photopolymer stamp set and the Tree Punch ($27.95 is your cost).

I adhered a strip of All is Calm Specialty Designer Paper to the left side of the card to carry on the triangular shape of the Tree Punch. The planter is Soft Suede, and the star was punched from Gold Foil paper.

We've been having some really nice weather, even with a few sprinkles of rain today, so it's been hard wrapping my head around Christmas. But I like starting Christmas cards early so I have a wide variety to choose from when I send them out in December.

Don't forget - you may order anytime that's convenient for you via my Online Store at http://therubberroom.stampinup.net. Thanks!

Goin' nutty this Christmas

Honestly, I love the bold lines and look of the images in the Santa Stache stamp set. They're easy to color, and you can "pop" the mustache. The sentiments are terrific too.

This card starts with a Smoky Slate base and a 3" square piece of designer paper. It's another of my 10 designs from my recent 20-card class. I hand-cut the mustache and placed dimensionals under it. I've seen this nutcrackers in so many colors and think it looks fabulous in each and every one!

Ho ho ho with Santa Stache

I am loving the Santa and nutcracker in the Santa Stache stamp set in the Holiday Catalog.

This is a quick and easy Christmas card with a Crumb Cake base embossed with the snowflakes. The Santa was stamped in Jet Black StazOn with Real Red applied to the hat with an aqua painter and a Crumb Cake marker used for the facial hair.

My kids are thrilled today - no school! It's a teacher improvement day, so the kids get a three-day weekend. Life is good!!! Enjoy the day.
