Summer Silhouettes with Island Indigo

I am so totally loving this Island Indigo, Basic Black and Crumb Cake color combination.

I CASE'd this card from Deena Boos at http://myhomegrownart.com, changing up the colors and embossing folder (I used Woodgrain). I love the tag top punches - this one is ornate.

Laughter is the shortest distance

I love clean and simple cards. I'm just drawn to them! This is a card using the Feel Goods stamp set in the Spring Catalog, along with a couple of stamps from Summer Silhouettes. I CASE'd it from fellow demo Jill Hilliard. She used a white, stamped layer on a white notecard. My card is 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" and I added the Certainly Celery layer. The ink colors are: Midnight Muse, Rich Razzleberry, and Certainly Celery. You may use a circle punch on the corners to get this look.

I was thinking the Spring Catalog ended this month, but you'll actually be able to order from it till the end of May! So that's good news. It gives me one more month to play with all of the good stuff in there. If you'd like to order any of it, please visit my Online Store at http://therubberroom.stampinup.net. Thanks!

Summer Silhouettes in the sunshine; newest In Colors

This is another card my club members are making this month. The white circle draws your eye to the Summer Silhouette stamps.

I CASE'd this card from my blogging friend Deena Boos at My Home Grown Art. I punched a 2-1/2" circle and used temporary adhesive to stick it to my 3-7/8" x 5-1/4" piece of Glossy White card stock before sponging around the circle with Bashful Blue ink. Then I removed the circle and placed the piece of paper I'd punched it from over the sponged part and stamped the leaves and flowers from Summer Silhouettes in Jet Black StazOn ink, as well as the sentiment, which is from the Pursuit of Happiness stamp set.

So I posted about Color Refresh several days ago. Here are the names of the incoming In Colors that will be in the 2013-2014 annual Stampin' Up! catalog: Pistachio Pudding, Coastal  Cabana, Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantaloupe and Baked Brown Sugar. Yummy!

As a demonstrator, I'll get to order Sneak Peek and Hostess items starting April 24. What's even cooler is that I've earned lots of free stamp sets from my recruiting and sales during Sale-a-Bration this year! Whoo hoo!!!

If you'd like to join my American Ink group, there's always room for you! You can totally customize your Starter Kit - it's only $99 for $125 worth of high-quality product. Best of all, there's no obligation to do classes or workshops. You do what fits your life best. You may buy the Starter Kit thru my Online Store at http://therubberroom.stampinup.net. Thanks!

I love my Stampin' Up! business advisor!

I received this fun Summer Silhouettes card in the mail today and just had to share it with you! It's from my Stampin' Up! business advisor, Carlos, congratulating me for earning the Grand Vacation to Fiji in 2013. He wrote, "I am happy and thrilled to see you reach Fiji! We make a good team. Thank you, Carlos.

I want to thank those members of my downline who promoted to senior associate, securing the trip for me: Ginette, Jessica, Missy, Karen, Dani, Teresa, Jules, and Lynn. And many thanks to my customers for supporting me through my classes and club. I appreciate all of you!
