Stampin' Up! employees - the best on Earth!

Stampin' Up! has the best employees ever! They are fun, helpful, friendly, and eager to please us demonstrators. We walked around the desks of demonstrator support and business advisors today at Riverton. It was all very tidy (one guy told us they were asked to clean up their area! lol), and there were SU! cards and other kinds of projects everywhere.

On a handout we received it said demo support reps handle approximately 1,100 phone calls, with up to 3,000 per day during peak times. The email team answers between 300 and 400 emails every day.

We were encouraged to write a note in one room where the walls were all white boards! In the larger area, there were foosball, ping pong and air hockey tables, along with "chillsacks" - giant bean bags. An employee told us that was where they brainstormed ideas. Love it!
This area is where the barcodes get stuck on the correct size box for our orders. We also got to watch the pick line in action. A box would kick out of line and when the barcode was laser-scanned, a red light would light up, letting the employee know to put that item in the box! It's an awesome sight.

More Riverton photos

Here are more highlights of our half-hour bus ride to Stampin' Up!'s Riverton campus. It's 89 degrees right now.

A huge banner with the convention theme.
The open atrium with lunch tables on either side.
More wood crates with brightly-colored books and other fun stuff!
This wall was covered by First Edition dsp. I love the crates and the big paper flowers.
A gorgeous holiday vignette with a handmade paper wreath.

For All You Do accordion purse...

How cute is this chipboard purse with accordion sides? Very!

In addition to the paper and Old Olive grosgrain, images from For All You Do were stamped and cut out and adhered to the front. I used a Sizzix die Stampin' Up! carries for my initial - T.

It's hard to see, but there's paper piercing going from the "T" to the butterfly.

I especially love the way the circle brad acts as the bag closure, along with some linen thread.

This was one of the make & takes we got to make in Hawaii during the incentive trip there.

For All You Do...

When we were in Hawaii back in March, Stampin' Up! provided us with make & takes. But we didn't do them then.

Kim and I just grabbed the kit (pads, stamp set, sticky strip, a marker and brads in a gorgeous woven basket with a wide ribbon threaded through a wooden turtle) and resumed our outdoor activities.

During our group's stampin' retreat a couple of weeks ago, we finally sat down to stamp them. First is an accordion-style card using white textured card stock (which I never realized we sold!), then a card with cut-out flowers, and a beautiful love note and envelope.

At least one flower and butterfly were stamped off and then stamped onto the polka-dotted stamp in the For All You Do stamp set. I love that look!
