Red and white Christmas plus Cards for Hospitalized Kids

This cute little Santa is from the Color Me Christmas stamp set in the Holiday Catalog.

I created this card for a 10-card Christmas class. It uses a 2" x 5-1/2" piece of Polka Dot Parade designer paper and some silver 1/8" ribbon to create a tall present. The sentiment is from More Merry Messages.

One of my blogging buddies (Hi, Cheryl!) mentioned a new charity I can easily support. It's called Cards for Hospitalized Kids. Here's what it's all about:

Cards for Hospitalized Kids(CFHK) is an internationally recognized charitable organization that spreads hope, joy & magic through uplifting, handmade cards to kids that are hospitalized and/or seriously ill.

Individuals and groups across the nation, and world, donate time and creativity to make handmade cards and send them to us to distribute in hospitals across the nation.

Over 40,000 kids in hospitals in all 50 states have received cards from us. We believe this is just the beginning. We hope you will help us brighten the days of as many hospitalized kids as possible.

A couple of nieces visited Sunday, so among the things we did, we sat down and wrote inspirational messages inside each of these 42 Halloween cards. It feels wonderful! I hope you have a fun day.
