If you have lots of scraps hanging around, try something like the paper strips on this card.I grabbed this idea out of the new Spring-Summer Idea Book & Catalog 2009. The sample in the book had polka-dotted Rose Red designer paper, but I didn't have enough of that, so I used this little flower pattern.

This card is Pink Pirouette, with a 3/16" strip of Close to Cocoa, a 1" strip of Rose Red dsp, an Old Olive scallop circle (using only 6 of the scallops), and some 1/4" Old Olive grosgrain ribbon. The image was stamped in Basic Gray ink and punched out with the 1 3/4" circle punch. The butterfly was colored in with a Rose Red watercolor crayon and an Old Olive marker.
