Sharing a bit of holiday cheer

December is a magical month! I had a fabulous time with members of my American Ink group last weekend. We went to brunch and exchanged gifts and Christmas cards. Above is the beautifully crocheted garland my friend, Barb, gave me. She used Stampin' Up! gold twine.

I absolutely love this! Wish I were half as talented. And notice the antique brad in the center of each star?

The garland was packaged in this gift box (made with the gift box template) and see that tiny bow? It's a new punch in the Occasions Catalog, which debuts January 6, 2015. Better add that to your wish list.

Barb gifted us these lotion bars made by her son, Jayson, in a stamped mini bag, which is a fun way to package small items.

Frankie made this adorable card, using the White Christmas stamp set and heat embossing. I used the layout of this for one of my club projects this month. I'll share a photo of those later.

Look closely for the shimmer and shine on Sherry's Gentle Peace card I received yesterday. It's beautiful! I love the colors she chose.

My friends make me feel very blessed. Jen made this centerpiece with her garden club buddies. It was used at the club's Christmas Brunch, which we attended last week, then she gave me this to enjoy in my home for the holidays. And yesterday, I had lunch and exchanged gifts with my bestie, Kim. I love the Seahawk sweatshirt she got me. I'm wearing it now... so comfy.

Even my hubby's customers gifted us goodies (made in Washington!). Now all I can hope is that my family gets healthy by Christmas. My daughter got sick this morning, just as I was dropping her off at school. My son is on meds after developing bronchitis and early pneumonia. And my hubby is at the doctor's right now, seeing if he's also got bronchitis.

I'm sharing this photo of my hubby fixing my Big Shot. The handle wouldn't move at all. He took the machine apart, saw bearings were a little out of line, fixed that and put it back together, and it works great! I even dusted it when it was in pieces. ha ha
