Not So Seriously twisted easel card for Technostamper challenge


This lady from the Not So Seriously stamp set cracks me up. I decided this was a "fancy" card, being a twisted easel card with some of that velvety Mocha Morning Specialty Paper and all, so I gave her bigger black eyelashes, bigger dark eyes, and some pearl earrings.


By making the front of the card square (4-1/4" x 4-1/4") and folding one corner to the opposite, you can adhere an entire cardfront with all its layers, to the part that was folded to make it open this way. It's called a Twisted Easel card. I have a free tutorial under the Tutorials tab above.

I'm really happy with the way this card turned out. I love the Mocha Morning paper layered on Soft Suede or Basic Black card stocks, as they are here. They make the card feel rich. I made this card using Mary Jo's sketch (flipped) at http://technostamper.blogspot.com/:
