Viewmaster card

I received this beautiful card in the mail for my birthday and couldn't have been more pleased! My friend and downline, Holly, made this Viewmaster card (see the semi-circle punched on the right? Take your finger to move the white part down to reveal the entire message. So cute!

I turned the "wheel" once to review another word. The stamp set is a new photopolymer set called Endless Birthday Wishes.

I love the vibrant color and layers Holly used, as well as the rhinestones.

I'm hanging onto this card. I know how difficult it is to make! lol

Thanks, Holly. You're the best!

Mini coffee cup FUN!

My friend and downline, Barb, brought this fabulous project for us to make at our American Ink team meeting. She ordered the mini coffee cups and lids from a restaurant supply company. They are the CUTEST!

Linda, one of my favorite credit union employees, smiled so brightly when I gave her this treat through the drive-thru. She told me she saves the 3d items I've given her, and even shares the goodies from time to time. lol

As you can see, we were able to stamp and punch a sentiment for the cup, as well as decorate it all around, including the lid. It's so adorable! Thanks, Barb.

Endless Birthday Wishes

I prepped this cute and easy birthday card for a make and take at my most recent demonstrator gathering.

The sentiment and cake images are from the photopolymer stamp set Endless Birthday Wishes (only $13.95!). I stamped them using the Jet Black StazOn pad. Then I used a couple strips of the Moonlight paper stack (item 133701, $6.95) to add patterns and color to the card front. I colored the cake using an aqua painter and ink pads, then cut it out and popped it up with dimensionals. I CASE'd a card by fellow SU! demo Diana Gibbs. She used washi tape instead of paper strips.

I hope you have a great day! I've been filling out thank-you and birthday cards, and getting ready for a garage sale (which means clearing things out of my kids' rooms!).

For Dad the Traveler

This ship brings forth great memories of cruises my hubby and I have taken - several as Stampin' Up! incentive trips that I earned, and the very first one we took as an adventure to Alaska in 2007.

So I figured this Traveler card will be perfect for my hubby. I layered a piece of paper from the Moonlight dsp stack (item 133701, $6.95), on a Whisper White card. The ship from Traveler (item 134513, $19.95 clear; item 134510, $27.95) is stamped in Lost Lagoon (a new In Color) and layered on the same color card stock, then adhered to the front of the card with dimensionals and a banner punched out of Hello Honey card stock.

A green Father's Day card

There's nothing like an oak tree and embossed wood grain to say "Happy Father's Day." This card uses Gumball Green and Chocolate Chip card stock and ink. The greeting is from Delightful Dozen, which is now retired, but the tree is from Lovely as a Tree - a longtime favorite. This design was one of the 10 at my last 20-card class. It's quick, since we used the 2-1/2" circle punch after stamping the tree, and paper snips to make quick work of the banner.

I have an opening in my Card Club. We're going to be starting another round in August, so if you're interested, please contact me. You'll get a free catalog, a few projects to make each month at my studio, and hostess benefits twice during the catalog year. You just commit to ordering $30 in SU! product every month that we meet. That's it! Please email me at ericandterry@comcast.net. Thanks!

Perfectly Penned birthday

I celebrated a big milestone birthday this past weekend (okay, this past WEEK), and there were so many highlights. But my favorite thing was this card my hubby made me!

He said he found the already-embossed Crumb Cake layer, though he had to cut it down to layer on the card front, as well as the Very Vanilla oval. But he stamped everything, punched the ticket and added the antique brad and glimmer brads.

He even added this wavy Crumb Cake strip inside (another find in my file drawer). I love my hubby so much! He's the best.

I'm not one to fixate on age. It's more about how you feel, I think. And I feel young! What is nice, is hearing from all of my friends and family. I am feeling the love, and I truly appreciate it. Here's hoping you feel the love today!

Zoo Babies birthday card

My customers made two birthday cards for kids using the Zoo Babies stamp set and the Apothecary Accent framelit that fits the sentiment. They could add whichever color of candy dots they wanted. I love that these just stick on! No holes to punch.

Birthday cupcake

Here's a cupcake with sprinkles for a birthday card. It uses the now retired Create a Cupcake stamp set, along with the Build-a-Cupcake Punch, and a strip of Watercolor Wonder paper.

Father's Day cards

At my recent 20-card class, the women made several man cards. With the Teeny, Tiny Wishes stamp set, they could choose the greeting of their choice. Above, I used the Baby, We've Grown stamp set with Sweater designer paper and Natural Composition paper, and the Scalloped Tag Topper punch for the tag.

I used a Basic Black marker to ink up two of the three owls that make up a single stamp, then used an aqua painter and ink pad to color the owls.

This is the epitome of a quick card - a couple strips of designer paper and a Gumball Green stamped greeting punched out of Whisper White with the Word Window punch and layered on a Modern Label-punched piece of Gumball Green card stock.

One card for many events

"Oh, Happy Day" fits so many different occasions. I paired this Starburst Sayings sentiment with a graduation saying from Pure Gumption (now retired) inside.

I love this layout because you may use whatever designer paper you like, and just coordinate the ink to the paper.

This is my more female version, if you will, just because the colors are brighter. Have a wonderful day!

Love & Sympathy card

I must admit - I've never used Soft Sky and Garden Green together. I like the way they feel on this Love & Sympathy card.

After using the Scallop Border Punch on the bottom of the card, I added a 1/2-inch strip of Soft Sky. At the top is a knot of 3/8" Whisper White taffeta.

I'm at a vintage open market all day today with my niece and her daughter. I love seeing what everybody brings. In fact, last week (our first at the market), I ended up buying more than I sold. I'm determined to turn that around today! I've included a few photos below. We have a lot of items in a 10' square space.

Rustic wire baskets in our market booth.

Silver plated creamer, sugar bowl, coffee pot, cup and tray.

Vintage folding chairs - in excellent shape!
