From the Crypt & Extreme Elements 3d project
I asked downline to help with this project for my Halloween stamp camp. The 5/8" black grosgrain ribbon is the handle, held onto the sides of the box with Real Red brads.
The Modern Label Punch was used on Basic Black card stock for the "treats" rub-on (Spooky Treats Rub-Ons).
The skull and bat were stamped in Basic Black ink. An element was stamped in Real Red, then onto the front of the skull, as well as sponged around the Whisper White layer before being adhered to Real Red card stock.
This project was CASE'd from Beate Johns.

Boo wall hanging...
I used the chipboard that comes in the designer paper pack to first cut three scallop squares, then used a glue stick to adhere card stock.
The designer paper is from the Cast A Spell pack.
Embellishments include a Pumpkin Pie corduroy button (the "thread" is a sliver of black card stock), Spooky Treats rub-ons, striped black ribbon.
I also used the Eat, Drink & Be Scary stamp set to stamp the spider on the middle "O" and stamp and cut out a pumpkin.
This wall hanging was inspired by one I saw on Barb Mulliken's blog.

House of Haunts...
The shape of the card is striking - it's 2-3/4" x 6-1/2" and fits inside Stampin' Up!'s small, open-ended envelopes.
The sponging, tearing and More Mustard circle all add to the mood of the card.
I can't wait for Halloween! It's so much fun. The kids have a Fall Festival at school and get to don costumes and play games.

Spooky Treats rub-ons & Extreme Elements...
We started with a Basic Gray card base, followed by a strip of Basic Black that was punch with the Eyelet Border Punch. That strip was adhered to the back side of a Lavendar Lace layer.
We'd stamped one of the Extreme Elements stamps in Basic Gray in the upper right-hand corner and added a white rub-on from the Spooky Treats pack. We pierced holes and added black brads.
The spider body is a 3/4" Circle Punch out of the Lavender Lace layer. We put black jelly beans in the Sweet Treat cup, then added the legs, which were punched with the Round Tab Punch and cut in half.
The final touch is a knot of black gingham on the left, as well as a cute little bow Kim added to the head. Wiggly eyes (4 mm) are stuck on with Mini Glue Dots.
Hope you enjoy your Sunday!
Graveyard Gala & Pumpkin Patch...
The card base is 5-1/2" x 10-1/2" and is from the 12" x 12" Neutrals pack - this is textured gray card stock.
We used two strips of designer paper from the Cast A Spell pack, stamping the pumpkins and vines in Basic Gray on the green.
I love the crows in the Graveyard Gala stamp set. They add a cool touch. We stamped two in Basic Gray and cut them out. The pumpkins were stamped in Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink, with the Old Olive grass (love the grass stamp too!) below.
We used a Spooky Treats rub-on on Old Olive and punched it out with the Wide Oval punch, then adhered some 5/8" Old Olive grosgrain around the tombstone as the focal point.
The best part of the card? It fits in a regular envelope!

Autumn Splendor...
The stamp set can be found in the Holiday Mini Catalog.
You can see some Autumn Meadows designer series paper on the left of the card, as well as some elastic gold cord.
Now for the Polished Stone Technique:
Saturate a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol and squeeze out the excess. Place 2 drops of two different reinkers on the cotton ball, as well as a drop of a metallic reinker (gold here).
Swirl and dab the cotton ball onto glossy card stock till you get a pattern you like. Spray the glossy card stock with either hairspray or a matte sealer (from about a foot away). Once dry, stamp a lined image on top in black StazOn, or Basic Black ink, and finish the card as you like.
Enjoy a wonderful fall-like day!

Circle Circus thinking of you...
Circle Circus is a fun stamp set because it works hand-in-hand with the many circle and scallop circle punches Stampin' Up! carries.
The "thinking of you" is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. It was punched out with the Modern Label Punch, then Kim added two Tempting Turquoise brads for another pop of color.

Boo treat...
Pearl made this adorable little "Boo" treat. She used three circle punches (1", 1-1/4", and 1-3/8"), as well as the Scallop Circle Punch.
The ghost stamp is in the back of the catalog, along with many other single stamps. All are a great value!
Enjoy your Sunday! Hug your family.

Twick or Treat...
She used an empty aqua painter dipped in shimmery paint (new in the Holiday Mini, along with the stamp set) to give the ghosts a little somethin' extra.
The ghosts were stamped in Basic Black on Whisper White and punched out with the Wide Oval Punch. The black oval layer behind is a die for the Big Shot.
And what a great way to use scraps of striped ribbon!

Forest Friends & Beary Best Friends...
We stamped bambi in Basic Brown ink on the widest twill tape. A few inches of 5/8" Chocolate Chip grosgrain was folded over and attached to the back with a silver brad.
The Whisper White and brown layers of card stock were run through the Big Shot Top Note die, and we trimmed around the white Top Note where it was perfed.
We used the jumbo wheel, Friendly Words, on the Basic Brown pad to ink up the white layer, and finished the card with a stamp from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
Paula provided this Beary Best Friends make & take for us. What's adorable is the print dress. We stamped the girl bear once on Very Vanilla card stock, then again on a scrap piece of print pattern paper, cutting this one out.
I also love the brads for the centers of the flowers and on the shoe.
Paula said she did this card as a project at a recent workshop and everyone loved it! I can understand why.

Sweet Centers treat...
Falling Leaves...
We stamped each leaf from Falling Leaves in the different color and layered it on the same color Square Scallop punched image. There's a Scallop Circle in Dusty Durango behind the Not Quite Navy leaf.
The sentiment was punched out with the Word Window and layered on the Modern Label punched card stock. And the final touch was a knot of Dusty Durango polka-dotted ribbon.

Scary Skeleton...
Every year we make a Halloween treat for the kids' classes. Last year, we made monster boxes and put Silly Putty inside. They were a hit!
This Whisper White card uses the Scary Skeleton set and a phrase from a new Holiday Mini stamp set Grateful Greetings that fits perfectly inside the small tag punch.
I used a 2-1/2" x 4" piece of Cast A Spell designer paper, and added a strip of Old Olive card stock that's been punched using the Scallop Edge Punch. The 5/8" black grosgrain ribbon is new with this catalog.
* If you gather orders totaling at least $250 before shipping and sales tax, you may select any stamp set or Big Shot die out of the Holiday Mini Catalog for only $10. (For example, Grateful Greetings is $36.95. If your order is $250, you'll receive $30 in free merchandise. You could get this stamp set for only $10 of that!)
Halloween Hoot...
Ink colors used are Basic Black and Perfect Plum.
I punched through the Whisper White and Perfect Plum layers with the horizonal slot punch. It gives a great place to anchor a short piece of ribbon.
Hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Petals-a-Plenty & Delightful Decorations...
She used the new Ornament Punch to make the perfect hole for the Delightful Decorations image that was stamped in Real Red and punched out.
An Old Olive bow makes the ornament topper and completes the card.

Big Shot card...
The Sage Shadow card is textured (Texturz Plate), then a piece of Dusty Durango prints paper was die cut with the Top Note die and put in the Elegant Bouquet textured impressions die.
To make the flowers and leaves stand out, Kim lightly sanded over the top of the embossed image.
To finish the card, she used more Sage Shadow in the Thanks embosslits die (it cuts and embosses at the same time), and attached it with a mini clip and a knot of Dusty Durango polka-dotted ribbon.

Noel decoration...
You get four 3" square Decor Elements blocks for $9.95. Then you can purchase Holiday Mix Decor Elements in black, chocolate, Real Red or white.
I borrowed the design directly from the mini catalog, and this was a cinch to pull together!
I first used some white acrylic paint and a foam brush to cover each block. I found two coats ideal.
If you have a side that doesn't look too great, that's a good one to cover with card stock. he he he
Don't have the right paper or ribbon? Use what you have!
I can still spell out JOY and SNOW, and have another ornament, snowflakes and holly and berries to use.

Pink Flamingo birthday fun...
This card is one of the invitations to a party. It is Tempting Turquoise and features Pink Flamingo designer paper, Real Red polka-dotted ribbon, the Eyelet Border Punch, and Dazzling Diamonds glitter.
The flower was cut out of the designer paper and adhered to the front with dimensionals.
Hope you have a great day!

Central Park Elegant Notes...
There's designer paper behind the laser-cut image, as well as a By Definition stamp inked in Basic Brown and punched with the Wide Oval Punch. Then it was sponged around and adhered to the note with dimensionals, a mini clip added for bling.
Today's the first day to order from the Holiday Mini Catalog! There are loads of fabulous new products for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas in it, as well as decoration ideas and some new designer paper and paints.
