Say goodbye to these great stamp sets

I love this Engraved Greetings card - a little embossing (Vintage Wallpaper folder), a little ribbon and some coordinating dsp and ink and you've got a great card. I CASE'd this from another stamper. It looks great no matter what color you use!

This card is so soft and pretty in person. It uses the Level 2 hostess set, Fast & Fabulous, as well as First Edition dsp (carrying over to the new catalog), and a sentiment from Live, Laugh, Love.

Here are a few more fabulous stamp sets that will be retiring as of the end of the month - Petal Pizzazz, Defining Alphabet, and Define Your Life. I cut the Top Note from Greenhouse Gala dsp, and added a 3/8" Very Vanilla taffeta.

Pun Fun is another fun retiring stamp set. I used some Brights dsp, and the Eyelet Border Punch. I used markers to color the flower and a blender pen withi Basic Gray to color the skunk.

If you'd like any of these stamp sets, you may order them before the end of June! Just visit my Online Store via http://therubberroom.stampinup.net/ and you can see a complete list of retiring stamps, accessories, and decor elements.

Michelle's American Ink swaps...

Michelle brought two swaps to our downline gathering. The first uses Crushed Curry textured card stock and satin ribbon. It features the single Fine Flourish stamp (from the Occasions Mini) with a sentiment from the Level 3 hostess set Kind & Caring Thoughts.

The second swap uses the Top Note die and Polka Dot embossing folder for the Big Shot, as well as the Big Flower punch.

A flower from Petal Pizzazz was stamped before being punched out.

Retreat swaps...

I had a wonderful time at our American Ink group stampin' retreat last Friday thru Sunday. We stamped, scrapbooked, ate, chatted, made make & takes and swapped.

If you'd like to join us at our next retreat, join my American Ink group today! Just visit http://TheRubberRoom.stampinup.net and click on JOIN. My recruiter password: Terry Blais.

At top is a textured Whisper White card with Ever After stamps inked in Basic Black from Frankie. I love the simple elegance of this card and plan to use it at an upcoming event.

Next, is a fun punch card swap by Heather using the Under the Stars stamp set. She CASE'd the idea, which happened to be perfect for our Hawaiian theme.

My favorite part of the card is the adorable grass skirt on the bear.

Bea made her swap with the Polka Dot background stamp and Petal Pizzazz. She even decorated the inside of the card. The sentiment is from the Great Friend stamp set, and there's a knot of Chocolate Chip grosgrain too.

The 6" x 6" page is Heather's swap, using Under the Stars again. I had a photo in mind - and on hand - when I received this. It's one of my son and his friends on a field trip to a place called Pioneer Farms.

The page features cut-out stars adhered with dimensionals, double-stitched Chocolate Chip ribbon, and a Not Quite Navy photo mat.
