Petal Parade and Decorative Dots for tag thank-you card

Though there are no punches that coordinate with the flowers in the Petal Parade stamp set, they're not bad to fussy cut and pop on a card, and they're so cute!

I started with a Soft Sky card and added a 4" x 5-1/4" layer of Whisper White that was embossed with the Decorative Dots folder. Both the stamp set and embossing folder are SAB items you may earn for free with every $50 purchased through Monday, March 31 (it's coming up FAST!).

Have you used the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch yet? Love it! Just push in a 2" piece of card stock and punch and you've got the decorative edge AND a hole to place ribbon. I'm hanging onto this punch forever! I CASE'd this card from Joanne at The Crafty Owl blog, and my club members got to make this.

Life is good. I've been getting a lot of things done - everything from setting up the kids' bathroom with a new-to-me shabby chic mirror and my hubby being home to install a new, beautiful light fixture, to decluttering areas of my home and finding small treasures for my vendor booth at a local antique mall.

I hope you're doing things that bring you joy! Have a wonderful day.

Banner Blast and punch birthday card

Banners brighten everything - doorways, parties, cakes, cards.... You name it! I used Banner Blast stamps and the Banner Punch for this card. Both items are available FREE with a $50 order through our Sale-a-Bration Event, which ends March 31. The Banner Punch will be offered in the next catalog, though not for free.

This Whisper White card has a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White layered on top with dimensionals. The sentiment is from Remembering Your Birthday (item 131347 wood, $23.95; item 131350 clear, $17.95). And I wrapped the Whisper White/Island Indigo twine around the top layer a couple of times before tying a cute little bow.

If you'd like to place an order, you're invited to do it through my Online Store at http://therubberroom.stampinup.net. Thanks!

Get crazy with your favorite ink colors and the Petal Parade stamp set to make a quick and easy card like this one. The colors are Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry. The sentiment is from the You're Amazing stamp set, and diecut using the Apothecary Accents framelit for the Big Shot.

Sweet Sorbet Easter bunny

When I saw this bunny in the Occasions Catalog stamp set Baby, We've Grown, I thought it'd be perfect for an Easter card.

This Crisp Cantaloupe card has a 2-inch banner of Sweet Sorbet (this is my favorite pattern in the package!). I used the 2-1/2" circle punch for the bunny layer, and a sentiment from Delightful Dozen.
It's been a busy week with a 10-card class yesterday and a card club today. I am also working on a scrapbook for my Lions Club for the year!
As always, if you'd like to place an order, I'd love for you to do it through my Online Store at http://therubberroom.stampinup.net. If you use this hostess code, UYVJTBEV, you'll also be entered into my drawing for free Stampin' Up! product of your choice. Don't forget the Weekly Deals and the new Clearance Rack stuff, as well as a free Sale-a-Bration item from that catalog for every $50 you order. Thanks!

Raspberry Ripple banner birthday

Mix birthday designer paper with the banner punch and you've got a party! Or at least a cute, quick and simple birthday card you can put together in minutes.

I started with a Raspberry Ripple card and added a layer of Very Vanilla card stock with a knot of stitched Raspberry Ripple ribbon, and a few festive little banners with the Banner Punch - an item you may earn for FREE when you place a $50 Stampin' Up! order.

Using tasty sorbet paper on a card

My friend and downline, Barb, created this pretty card with the Sweet Sorbet designer paper (a Sale-a-Bration item you may choose for FREE when you place a $50 order) and Yippee-Skippee! stamp set for her club this month. Do you see the Occasions Catalog items? Yep, you're right, if you guessed the Petite Petals stamp set and coordinating Petite Petals Punch (page 33). These are available in a bundle that will save you 15 percent over buying them separately.

I can't believe it's the last day of January! I hope you enjoy your Friday. My kids will - they have the day off since their teachers are working on grading. It's also the last day to place an Online Order with this hostess code - 9M2ZB9VQ - to be entered into my February 1 drawing for Stampin' Up! free product! Thanks.

I don't believe that it's your birthday

How cute is that little cake on top of this See Ya Later sentiment? I used markers to ink it up separately, fussy cut it, and popped it up with dimensionals. You can earn the See Ya Later stamp set for FREE during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-a-Bration Event, which starts January 28. For every $50 you order, you'll get to select a FREE item from the SAB Mini.

The Perfect Plum card body was made running a 6" x 6" piece of card stock through the Label Thinlit in the Big Shot. The Whisper White layer was die-cut using a frame in the same thinlit pack, as was the Summer Starfruit arrow. And if it's birthday cards you're making, you'll want to own the Birthday Basics designer paper - there are sheets of party hats, balloons, and yes - candles. (Item 130145, $10.95)

Place your order here - http://therubberroom.stampinup.net. Use this hostess code, 9M2ZB9VQ, and you'll be entered into my February 1 drawing for FREE SU! product of your choice.

I love BIG greetings!

This is my second post today, so be sure to check out the other one after reading this! I have several cards and finally got a chance to take photos of them, so I'll be posting them each day this week.

I LOVE the huge birthday greeting in Another Great Year stamp set in the Occasions Catalog. I chose to simply stamp it in Tempting Turquoise ink and embellish with rhinestones. I used the Banner Punch (2014 Sale-a-Bration item - you can get it starting Jan. 28) and Silver Foil paper, adding more rhinestones there. Another new item - the Arrows embossing folder, which I felt mimicked the little banners.

Some of you may know I share a vendor booth at a local antique store with my niece. We've been having lots of fun with it. I try to get holiday items in as they roll around - so I've been working on Valentine's Day. I'd found this heart tin last week and decided tonight to make some banana-chocolate chip muffins.

I think they're so adorable! I washed the pan and it'll go in our Booth 6 along with other goodies this week. If you want to check us out (and "LIKE" our page) please visit http://www.facebook.com/booth6goods. Thanks!

See Ya Later meets Retro Fresh for sketch challenge

I've been enjoying an absolutely wonderful day - first with my American Ink team members at my studio, then at home with my family watching the Seattle Seahawks football team win at home. I'm sharing the card I made for my swap this morning. This is a sneak peek at a stamp set called See Ya Later, which you may earn for FREE with a $50+ order during our Sale-a-Bration Event, which starts January 28.

Doesn't that paper just pop? It's called Retro Fresh designer paper and it's available in the Occasions Catalog on page 19 (item 132993, $10.95). I thought this pattern looked like little rainbows.

I used the sketch challenge over at Create with Connie and Mary. You have until January 15 to participate (9 a.m. PST), and need to use only Stampin' Up! products.

Did you notice the little banner to the left of the Chalk Talk framelit? It's the new Banner Punch (another SAB freebie with a $50 purchase). Super cute!
