Sketch challenge with new paper and pompom trim...

Sweet Stitches is the pretty new paper used on this 3" x 6" Daffodil Delight card. It's available to Stampin' Up! demonstrators only right now, but everyone may order it and anything else from the Occasions Mini Catalog on January 4. I used Melon Mambo pompom trim - also in that mini - to mimic the scallops in the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge shown below. I didn't get the stamp set that coordinates with the paper, so I pulled out the sewing machine stamp and saying from the Puns from the Past set. The big green designer button is from the Candy Cane pack in the Holiday Mini. My club members will get to make this card today.

Sweet Sunday challenge with Fireside Christmas...

I stamped this simple card for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. This is the first I've inked up Fireside Christmas. I earned this stamp set for free - just a perk of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator (another plug - the Starter Kit, normally $175, is $87.50 thru Nov. 30, 2010).

My card is Crumb Cake card stock, with rectangles of Deck the Halls dsp, is sponged around with Always Artichoke ink and features a knot of Always Artichoke seam binding. I inked up the fireplace with Basic Brown ink, and used an Always Artichoke marker on the wreath. The Cutter Kit distressed the Clear Circle (die for the Big Shot).
