Hey, Valentine!

 

Here's another project from the fund-raiser the other night. This image comes from the Hey, Valentine! stamp set in the 2015 Occasions Catalog.

 

I had bunches of small paper bags that are fun and easy to fill with goodies. After stamping the bird image on Whisper White card stock, I cut it out, colored it with markers, folded it over the top of the bag and stapled it in place.

 

I don't make valentines with my kids' classes anymore (they're too old for that), so it's nice to use cute stamps like the one above for goodies for people I come across in my daily travels errands.

I love the color combination of black and white and red. It makes everything pop.

 

Have you seen this adorable Happy Hearts embossing folder in the Occasions Catalog? What a great background! It's only $7.95 (item 137364). I used a strip of paper from the Stacked with Love dsp stack (item 137779, $6.95) and then stamped and punched out this cute fox image from the Hey, Valentine stamp set. The pop of Real Red came from a marker and 1/8" taffeta ribbon. This is the kind of card that's easy to make a bunch of - and fast!
