Stocking Stuffer idea #6: A glimmery hot cocoa packet

Have you seen a glimmer brad in the middle of a silver glimmer snowflake? It's gorgeous! Especially with Crumb Cake and Pretty in Pink card stock behind it.

This stocking stuffer idea is a tasty one - when you pull up on the Pretty in Pink bow, up comes a hot chocolate packet with mini marshmellows. All you need to do is add hot water. I forgot to get a photo of the cocoa packet pulled up, and they are now in my booth (#596) at A Victorian Country Christmas in the Showplex, which starts tomorrow.

The ice skates are from the Warmest of Wishes stamp set in the Holiday Catalog. The sentiment is from Bootiful Occasions. I used Polka Dots and Northern Flurry embossing folders, as well as the snowflake die to create this.

Today, I'm grateful for hot cocoa with marshmellows on a cold winter night! Yum!

Before I forget - it's the last day of Stampin' Up!'s Online Extravaganza! Here are the last of the Door Busters!

Still time to join The Great Pumpkin Blog Hop

Don't mess with the boots! I love the fashionable boots in the Bootiful Occasions stamp set. I embossed stripes on the Tangerine Tango card front, and added a strip of Polka Dot Patterns dsp on Basic Black card stock.

I separated the words from the boot on my clear stamp (so now I have two stamps!). It made it easy at a private class (Hi Susie!) to stamp the words in Basic Black and the boot in Rich Razzleberry. Of course I had to add a few rhinestones to the boot for some bling.

The Great Pumpkin Blog Hop continues in Week 10. Each week, you're invited to add your Halloween creation to the blog hop, along with the code near the bottom of each post. When you add the code to your blog while you are in the edit HTML mode, your readers can play along, leave comments, and view the samples right from YOUR blog!

At the end of 13 weeks, I will give one person a $50 Stampin' Up! gift certificate! The more times you enter the blog hop, the better your chances of taking home the Grand Prize. You also get a ticket just for displaying The Great Pumpkin Blog Hop badge on your blog. Whoo hoo!

Today is a great day for Bootiful Occasions

These boots are made for walking... and for great cards! My customers will get to make two of these cards at a 10-card class tonight. I CASE'd this design from page 51 of the Stampin' Up! catalog.

The boots are from the Bootiful Occasions stamp set. I used a 2" x 4" piece of Polka Dot Patterns dsp, a 2-1/2" punched circle of Daffodil Delight, a Brights button with white linen thread, and a 7/8" x 4-3/4" strip of Real Red card stock. The boots were stamped in Real Red and then I used a Bashful Blue marker to color in the "sky." The sentiment is perfect for my neck of the woods. It's been quite a wet summer so far, but the sun is shining today.

Happy Stampin'!
