A birthday is A Fitting Occasion

I love sentiments you can punch, like this "It's Your Birthday" from A Fitting Occasion. I layered it with the 1-1/4" scallop circle punch and added a large rhinestone before putting it on the front of my card with dimensionals.

I started with a Bermuda Bay card and embossed it with the Alphabet Press folder. Then I added squares of birthday designer paper and the medallion sentiment.

A Fitting Occasion - thanks so much!

These are a couple of the thank-you cards I made to put into my customers' orders this week. The card base is River Rock that's been punched on one side with the Scallop Trim Borner punch, with a layer of Neutral (River Rock) dsp on top. I stamped the "thanks so much" in Early Espresso and used the 1" circle punch for it. I stamped the scissors in Cherry Cobbler and hand-cut them, adding a sliver of dimensional. I think the little stamps in A Fitting Occasion are so cute!

If you'd like to place an order, you're welcome to go through my Online Store at http://TheRubberRoom.stampinup.net.

If you're still here, I'll share this vintage silverplate Mayell (Made in England) jam dish with hanging spoon I found at a garage sale yesterday for a couple of bucks. My bestie, Kim, and I drove all over the county finding lots of treasures - big and small. We had a ball! Kim took home the big treasures, while I took home the small ones. Right now my dish is holding Monopoly pieces from about five sets. I saw so many cool ideas with Monopoly on Pinterest - making a ring with a green, wooden house (I have those!), making a box with the board, or a journal cover with the board, covering a lampshade with the money. So many ideas, so little time!

Here are the thimble and iron. I've got lots of those! I love the metal pieces. I'd love to hear any ideas you might have for Monopoly and all of the assorted parts!

Vintage Verses and a sweet little valentine treat

I am so blessed to be able to spend stamping time outside of my monthly demonstrator gatherings with some of my downline. Barb created this beautiful card above. It uses Vintage Verses (a Sale-a-Bration stamp set you may pick for FREE when you order $50+), some Core'dinations card stock, and Parker's Patterns dsp. I love that she added pearls along the diagonal line.

Michelle brought an adorable heart-shaped sucker that's wrapped in plastic, then we put it in a bag and added a Honeycomb-embossed topper with some 2-toned ribbon and a soda pop top. The soda pop top has a circle of More Amore Specialty dsp in it, with an adorable elephant holding a tiny heart from A Fitting Occasion.

A gift & card in one! A Fitting Occasion bookmark card

My daughter gets this cute bookmark, which uses the owl from A Fitting Occasion, along with Comfort Cafe dsp and Soft Suede card stock. She loves how it fits on the corner of the pages.

Here's the card my club members made this month. It's a card and gift in one! They loved the bookmark. We used the new Argyle embossing folder on Very Vanilla card stock, and Cajun Craze ink and buttons.

We used the diagonal scoring plate to score the 4" x 4" Soft Suede piece, as well as the 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" piece of Comfort Cafe dsp.

Notice the bright green bucket on the black stand in the photo above? Well, below is the new and improved version. I painted the stand an Heirloom White and the bucket is Satin Aqua so it goes much better with the rest of my furniture at the studio.

Well, that's about it! My kids are officially out of school and they are so excited! I'm excited because I get to sleep in tomorrow.... Have a great week!
