Two-pocket purse...

This adorable paper purse was shown to use at the Portland Regional Seminar. It uses one 12" x 12" sheet of designer paper (Dashing here).

To make it you score two sides opposite each other at 1" and adhere down. Then you score the other two sides at 3 1/2" and adhere to each other. This makes a tube.

Keeping the seam of the tube up, fold in half. Then open up and score 1/2" on either side of the fold you just made. From the side, when you fold the purse on the score lines, it should look like a "W."

Once the "W" is in place, bring the top pieces of the tube together and adhere only at the top (not inside the pockets). Use a horizontal slot punch to make a spot for the 5/8" red grosgrain handles and knot the ribbon on both ends and sides.

The purse is a perfect size for Love Notes!

Hi Terry

One inch each score works better I found.
