Sherry provided this sophisticated make & take with the En Francais background stamp and Artistic Etchings.
The card is Crumb Cake card stock, with a layer of Early Espresso. The light layers are actually Whisper White that's been stamped, distressed and sponged to achieve this glorious look.

Kim made this card for our American Ink swap Saturday. She used some Greenhouse Gala designer paper, as well as Pear Pizzazz 1/2-inch stitched poly-ribbon.
This Whisper White card features the new Two-Step Owl Extra Large Punch and Wicked Fun specialty paper.
I had to add the googly eyes to my owl, who is sitting on a Chocolate Chip branch from the Two-Step Bird Extra Large Punch.
In addition to die-cutting the Top Note from the Wicked Fun paper, I also cut half Top Notes out of Pear Pizzazz (coordinating ribbon knotted at the top).
There's a new Antique Brad on the bottom, as well as one of the phrases from Word Play.
I used this textured Pretty in Pink 3" x 6" card for my New Catalog Open House, as well as a make & take at my American Ink demo meeting yesterday.
I stamped the bird stand and cage from Aviary in Marina Mist, then inked up the owl from that stamp set with Peach Parfait and Chocolate Chip markers.
The "just for you" is from Teeny, Tiny Wishes.
Did you notice the new Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch on the Marina Mist strip to the right? I used it as a punch template for the white layer.
The heart was punched from Real Red card stock and adhered with half a dimensional.
I haven't used Upsy Daisy for awhile, so when I saw this card on a blog, I decided to do it for a recent workshop, as well as make it my swap for our American Ink demo gathering today.
This is a Daffodil Delight card with a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock. The daisies were stamped in Daffodil Delight, sponged over with the same color, then glitter was added with a 2-way glue pen.
The sponged Daffodil Delight strip near the bottom was punched with the Scallop Trim Border, then stamped with a saying from Upsy Daisy in Early Espresso ink. A knot of 1/8" Early Espresso taffeta finishes the card.
Here are two more cards from my recent Birthday Card Stamp-a-Stack.
This one features the Artistic Etchings stamp set and Newsprint designer series paper with a knot of black satin ribbon.
We tore the left edge off a 4" x 4" piece of music, then sponged all the way around it with Basic Black ink. Then we used all of the stamps in the set for a collage look, capping it off with the Teeny, Tiny Wishes "happy birthday" at the bottom.
To add bling, we dabbed on some 2-way glue and added Dazzling Diamonds.

I adore all of the embossing folders - and have been playing around with the newest ones, including Vintage Wallpaper (shown here).
I started with a Whisper White card that was only put halfway into the folder and run through the Big Shot.
On the other side, I used Pacific Point and Early Espresso markers to ink up two stamps from Bouquet Bunches for the bouquet.
The sentiment is from Birthday Bliss. And the final touch is a knot of 1/8" Early Espresso taffeta.

The zigzag paper in the Greenhouse Gala designer pack is so bright and cheerful, I figured I'd pair it up with a cute dog from the D is for Dog stamp set.
The large red scallop was punched, and the 1-3/8" circle punch layered nicely on top of it. Those layers were adhered to the card with dimensionals.
I paper pierced a strip of Baja Breeze card stock and stamped the greeting from Family Phrases in Baja Breeze ink.
This Daffodil Delight card was one of five my stampers made at a recent birthday card stamp-a-stack.
The front was embossed with the Finial Press Embossing Folder for the Big Shot, then a strip of Greenhouse Gala dsp was added.
I stamped the birthday greeting from Perfect Punches in Tangerine Tango and punched it with the Wide Oval Punch, adhering it with dimensionals. For a final touch, we added rhinestones over the letter "i" and three more for more bling.
After rehearsing all week - sometimes several times a day - for their Fourth of July performance, the kids in our neighborhood had gone back and forth about whether it would actually happen today or not. First, they took sidewalk chalk and drew layers of stars in the middle of our cul-de-sac. That took hours yesterday, and faith that it wouldn't rain between then and now.
There's the bike brigade made up of the three older boys, a dance routine choreographed by the two older girls that concluded with picking up a little girl and dancing around with her, and "Uncle Sam" pulling a wagon with little kids in it. The whole thing was adorable! Residents of five homes turned out to see the performance. One neighbor purchased big Hershey bars for us to throw at the end, and sat with her sister, eating buttered popcorn! The kids loved it... and so did we. Have a Happy Fourth!
Kim recently hosted a Proud to be an American stamp camp. We could make all the cards we wanted and she had 10 designed and prepped! I bought this Baby Bundle stamp set in clear mount. It made it easy to adhere several of the stamps in a larger block to make the background.
And it was also easy to stamp the baby's head in the buggy!
The colors for this card are Bashful Blue (card, satin ribbon, marker), and Marina Mist.
I used a Real Red marker for the heart, and Basic Gray ink for the sentiment and to stamp the buggy.
This card uses Blissful Bride with Early Espresso and Pear Pizzazz card stocks and ink. The stamp set can be found in the Summer Mini Catalog.
Greenhouse Gala paper provides a lot of visual interest, as do the Ticket Corner-punched corners with the half pearls.
This Marina Mist card features Greenhouse Gala designer paper that's been scored and folded back at 1/2" to expose the pattern on the other side.
Then I pierced a strip of Marina Mist and added that for texture.
The greeting is from Perfect Punches. I love any set that fits our punches!
I've decided Marina Mist is my new favorite color. It's in the Subtles Collection and looks great with so many other colors.

This "my friend" greeting is from Perfect Punches and was inked with Early Espresso and Marina Mist markers, then adhered with dimensionals.
The ostrich is from the Look Who's Turning stamp set. It was inked in Marina Mist and layered on Early Espresso card stock. Then I added a large Tangerine Tango oval with an ice rhinestone brad for bling.
I made this Studio Sketches card on Pear Pizzazz, adding the strip of Greenhouse Gala paper layered on Pumpkin Pie, and the additional layer of Pear Pizzazz behind the fruit.

This Very Vanilla card features a whole lot of pizzazz!
Pear Pizzazz is the only ink used for this Printed Petals card. I inked up the largest flower and cut it out, adding a jumbo vanilla brad in the middle before adhering it to the Greenhouse Gala paper with dimensionals.
The designer paper and Pear Pizzazz layers were both punched at the corners with the Ticket Corner Punch, and adhered to the front of the card with more dimensionals.
The front of the card was stamped with a smaller flower from Printed Petals. And the "Congratulations" is from the fun new Perfect Punches stamp set.
When you need a quick card this one fits the bill. I punched Greenhouse Gala dsp with the 1-3/8" square punch, adhered it to a rectangle of Marina Mist, and used the Scallop Trim Border punch on the bottom.
That's 1/8" Early Espresso ribbon knotted around the layer. Cute, eh?
The phrase is from the new Level 3 hostess set Occasional Quotes. I love the variety of words!
This card features two new colors - Pear Pizzazz and Concord Crush - and a new stamp set called Friends Never Fade.
The designer paper is from the Greenhouse Gala pack. I love the patterns! In fact, I think my order today (1st day to order from the new catalog) will include lots of designer paper. It's too hard to just pick a pack or two. I think I need it all!!!
