Mixed Bunch Mother's Day card

 

A bright flower for mom won't wilt or need water if it's on a card.

 

I started with a Strawberry Slush card, and added 1" strips of Quattrefancy designer paper on the front, cutting them like banners. The Mixed Bunch flower was stamped in Daffodil Delight, punched out and topped with another stamp inked in Strawberry Slush, punched with the 3/4" circle punch, and adhered with a dimensional.

 

The greeting is from Teeny, Tiny Wishes. Inside, another greeting says "Happy Mother's Day." I wish all of my friends and family a wonderful day!

Mixed Bunch fabulousness in new In Colors

 

The In Colors never looked better than they do on my good friend Barb's fabulous make and take she brought for everyone in our American Ink group to make recently. I love the Pistachio Pudding card, stretch ribbon and punched flower with the Crisp Cantaloupe card stock layer and button. Fabulous! The flower is from the Mixed Bunch stamp set (p. 89), and was punched using the Blossom punch (p. 183).

Mixed Blossoms thank-you card

I LOVE receiving handmade cards in the mail. My friend and downline, Barb, made this lovely card for me. The colors and little pennants just POP. Of course the Mixed Blossoms punch and coordinating stamp set, Mixed Bunch, were used for this, along with Summer Smooches dsp. Thanks, Barb. I love it!

Summer Smooches Criss Cross pocket card for a birthday

This Summer Smooches Criss Cross card features Summer Smooches dsp and fabric, along with Mixed Bunch and the Blossom Punch (and 1/2" circle punch for the inside of the flower). My club members are making this card this month. The Criss Cross card uses a full 8-1/2" x 11" piece of Tempting Turquoise card stock to make the pocket for the insert.

Quick and easy Spring class cards

I had a dozen stampers at my studio a few days ago for a Spring 10-card class. This Blushing Bride card uses Twitterpated dsp, the Elementary Elegance stamp set and Butterflies embosslit for the Big Shot, as well as pearls. I CASE'd it from Christy Fulk, changing the colors.



This Everybunny stamp set card uses Big Top Birthday dsp and Labels Framelits. The sentiment is from Delightful Dozen. There's a bow of Daffodil Delight seam binding - something you can purchase this month as part of the Summer Smooches promotion.

This Baja Breeze card uses the Mixed Bunch stamp set, along with the Blossom, 3/4" and 1" circle, and scallop trim border punches. The other colors are So Saffron and Riding Hood Red. The sentiment is from the Sprinkled Expressions stamp set. I CASE'd the idea from Sue Noetzel, though I changed all of the colors.

I love the simplicity of this Very Vanila card. I used strips of Everyday Enchantment dsp, added a "Hello" from Elementary Elegance, and a diecut butterfly from the butterflies embosslit. I CASE'd this card.

The last design for the class used Heaven Blessed stamps and Everyday Enchantment dsp, with a greeting from Teeny, Tiny Wishes. I used markers to color the image, which was punched out with the 2-1/2" circle punch.





Mixed Bunch and Pocketful of Posies dsp for quick card

Happy Friday! This is yet another simple design I used for my last 10-card class. It uses 1-3/8" strips of Pocketful of Posies dsp with the Blossom Punch and Mixed Bunch stamp set. We used the 3/4" circle punch for the Poppy Parade inside of the flower, and a sentiment from Loving Thoughts in Baja Breeze to complete the card. I hope you have a fabulous day!

Blossom Punch embossed card and finger people

I saw a card similar to this at the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference last month, and then again on Becky Robert's blog and thought it would be fun to have my clubs make it last month. It starts with a Poppy Parade card with a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Everyday Enchantment dsp. That's the patterned paper you can get for FREE with a $50 order thru March 31. I cut a smaller piece of Whisper White card stock that I first punched with the Blossom Punch before running through the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. After that, I added a punched Poppy Parade circle, a stamped Old Olive flower middle from the punch's coordinating stamp set, Mixed Bunch, and a button with Whisper White Baker's Twine.

My daughter and I saw some finger people on Pinterest this morning, and thought it'd be fun to recreate some. Cute, aren't they?

Mixed Bunch flower on Pocketful of Posies dsp

This week has been a blur. I guess because there was a holiday on Monday. That made it one day shorter than normal. Then I had a bunch of deliveries to make Wednesday, and an all-day fieldtrip with my daughter's class yesterday. I had a 10-card class Monday night, and am just now getting around to posting the projects. This Concord Crush/Old Olive card is one of them. It uses the Mixed Bunch stamp set, Blossom Punch, leaves (two petals from the 5-Petal Punch), Pocketful of Posies dsp, as well as Teeny, Tiny Wishes. It uses a layout similar to one I did last July here with the Array of Sunshine stamp set.
