Christmas Lodge for Monkey Challenge 84
I've been busy all day crafting with my daughter. I created home decor items while she painted things to hang on her newly redecorated walls in her room. So when it came time to create a card for Monkey Challenge #84: Anything Goes + Sketch, I opted to keep my card simple. And while I was at it, I thought this would be perfect for the inspiration challenge at http://handstampedsentiments.blogspot.com.
The lodge stamp is from Christmas Lodge, and the sentiment is from Holiday Happiness. Both were stamped in Early Espresso. I added glitter to the lodge's snowy roof and ground with a 2-way glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds glitter. I added a strip of flowers with the Petals A Plenty embossing folder, and also rounded opposite corners on the layers and the card. I hope you like it!
Your card is fabulous and gorgeous. I love the glitter with the white satin ribbon as it is so perfect for Christmas. And, I really like the asymmetry of the rounded corners.
Wow a second card! I love the black layer behind the image makes it pop. You did a great job with this card as well. Thanks for taking the time to do a second card for our challenge this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments.
I appreciate you visiting my blog! I'd love to hear what you think about what you saw/read. I moderate all comments now because I've received so much spam lately! Thanks!!!
