Roar your birthday boy greeting with Dinoroar; Heirloom show

I'll miss this cute dinosaur in the retiring stamp set Dinoroar! I added shades of Lucky Limeade to him, using a blender pen and ink pad. This was one of the card designs for a 10-card class earlier this week.

I cut 2" x 2-1/2" pieces of In Color dsp from the 12" x 12" pad. The colors used here are Lucky Limeade (retiring at the end of the May), and Island Indigo. I love the personality the dots and stripes add to the card when paired with the dinosaur, which was punched out of Whisper White card stock with the 2-1/2" Circle punch. The sentiment also comes with the stamp set!

Tomorrow I'll be setting up a terrific booth at the Heirloom Rubber Stamp and Paper Arts Festival in Puyallup with my bestie Kim. Her kidnapper van is already loaded! I'm so excited for the weekend. We stay overnight on Saturday, which is lots of fun. If you have time either Saturday or Sunday (or both!) I hope you'll come down and visit us - and buy a bunch of stuff. It's CRAZY how much retired Stampin' Up! stuff we have between the two of us - especially the NEW stuff!!! You'll find everything from stamps and ribbons, to punches and fabric, plus many more items we made with our own little hands!

If you'd like to order any of the above items, please use my Online Store at http://TheRubberRoom.stampinup.net. Thanks!

Stamps: Dinoroar;
Ink: Jet Black StazOn, Lucky Limeade pad;

Mosaic Madness and Secret Garden make and takes

A handful of rhinestones add sparkle to this card, which was a make and take Kim brought for our demonstrator gathering this past weekend. The Mosaic Madness stamp set has a coordinating embossing folder and punch. Love it!

Mary Ann brought a Wisteria Wonder and Eggplant Envy Secret Garden card. The sentiment is from Blooming with Kindness. We colored the flowers with ink pads and a blender pen, then added 2-way glue and Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the center of each flower.

My group is wonderful! Some of the demos volunteer to bring projects for everyone to make, some bring food (we had a very nice spread Saturday!), and swapping cards is always optional and fun! We're winding down the number of days left to order from the current catalogs (annual and Spring), so if there's something you want, order it soon. You may always order thru my Online Store at http://TheRubberRoom.stampinup.net.

Finally, this Friday is when Kim and I are setting up our 10' x 10' booth at the Heirloom Rubber Stamp and Paper Arts Festival in Puyallup at the fairgrounds. We'll be right up front with our shabby chic/vintage furnishings holding a ton of retired stamps, punches, ribbons, and so much more! I hope you can join us this Saturday or Sunday (or both!). Have a wonderful day!!!

Capping a fun weekend at Heirloom show in Portland

Wow! What a fun weekend my bestie Kim and I had in Portland, OR, at the Heirloom Productions Rubber Stamp and Paper Arts Festival. We sold tons of retired Stampin' Up! stamps, punches, Big Shot dies, purses, card kits, ribbons, embellishments and more! If you missed us at this show, we'll be doing an Heirloom show in Puyallup at the Fairgrounds May 18-19, 2013. We'll be adding MORE items!

We set up and took down our booth in record time! We got an amazing amount of product in our 10' x 10' spot, even having a walkway through the middle. These photos were before the show started. We didn't have time to take photos during or after.

It made us happy receiving all of the nice comments everyone had about our booth. We even had some offers from people wanting to buy our suitcases, and other display items! It was also great seeing many of our friends, who traveled from Kitsap County to visit us. Thanks so much! Hope you have an amazing day.
