Happy Thanksgiving!

 

I love the rich, beautiful colors of fall, the nip of cold in the air, the tastes and smells of pumpkin pie, cinnamon and sugar treats, and turkey. Today, Thanksgiving, is just a wonderful reminder of all of the blessings we have in our lives.

 

 

I was so excited to see two cards in the mailbox yesterday. I love hand-stamped cards! I am grateful for my friends Brandy and Stephanie. Brandy, also one of my Stampin' Up! downline, made the gorgeous card above.

Gently Falling stamps used for Autumn card

Club members made this Autumn card, which I CASE'd from Heather Klump. It uses patterned paper from Frostwood Lodge, quilted Cherry Cobbler ribbon, and stamps from the Gently Falling set. The sentiment is from Grateful Greetings.

Turkey party picks for Thanksgiving...

There's nothing cuter than a turkey party pick in your holiday cupcake or other dish! If you have these circle and scallop punches, you're good to go! My friend and downline Cheryl made party picks like this for our American Ink team meeting just over a week ago. She made the cupcakes they were in too! Yum. I took a side view to show you how she folded the "wings." But my favorite part is the black hat, which was stuck on with a mini glue dot.

Trendy Trees for Thanksgiving...

My friend and downline Cheryl gave me this lovely card the last time I saw her. It's simple and beautiful. It's a Very Vanilla card measuring 4" x 10-1/2" on a quarter of Soft Suede card stock. I love the sponging on the tree, along with the shiny Stickles. She added 5/8" Certainly Celery ribbon with a bit of retired Soft Suede polka-dotted ribbon. The sentiment is from the Falling Leaves stamp set.
