My Stampin' Up! Classes

A big mess for What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday (WOYWW)...

After looking at my desk for a few minutes and taking these photos, I concede it is a big mess but on the other hand, I'm fortunate to have all this great stuff to play with! I had 17 women show up for my Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack tonight. They were great. I returned home very tired, though it's a happy tired.

I enjoy prepping for a class, but it's harder/takes longer for me to put everything back in its place. I'll tackle the desk tomorrow since I have a stamp club meeting in the evening. Most of the stuff will go where it's supposed to, and I should be able to clear enough desk space to create more projects.

I wanted to show you the fancy light box I constructed with the cardboard backing from my paper packages. I have this small desktop Ott light (love the clear light it provides!), and built the "box" around it. I place one card in there at a time to take a photo of it for this blog. Cheesy, but it works AND I can fold it so it takes up very little room.

Well, that's it for now. I'll post the stamp-a-stack cards tomorrow. Thanks for visiting! Now go visit Julia and other fabulous workdesks at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com. Ciao!

  16. 17? I'd have been there in a shot - I love a stamp a stack workshop I really do. Considering the amount you're doing, I think your area looks pretty good - it's the putting away bit that I don't like. Love your light tent/box - may have to borrow that idea please - if I ever make something worthy of a decent photo!

  19. I love your photo box. Nothing cheesy about something that works. And tidying is so boring; why do it when you could make something instead? Great desk. Thanks for sharing.

  28. Love your lightbox/tent for photos - great idea. Your desk looks very organised to me but as you are so busy it needs to be.
signing up to your blog - I need to look at someone like you.

  29. Considering how busy you've been that's actually not to messy really is it? I really need to do something along those lines for a light box, my photos are always subject to the weather or lighting conditions.

  34. My ink pad holder is a wine label holder I picked up at a garage sale years ago for $2.

My hubby built the shelves on the wall because I didn't have anywhere else to go but up! They hold about 100 stamp sets.

    Thanks for looking!
