Love You Much Post-It pad...

Who couldn't use more Post-It notes? I'm always looking for something to write on!

This Pink Pirouette Post-It holder was sized just 1/4" wider than the Stampin' Up! pad I had. I scored it at 4" from both short ends to make a 1/4" spine at the top for the thickness of the pad.

I stamped the three hearts from Love You Much in the same ink as the pink card stock. Then took a strip of Candy Lane designer paper, layered it on Chocolate Chip card stock, and tied a 1/4" grosgrain knot around both layers.

I pierced the bottom of the holder and added the sentiment in Basic Brown ink.

The heart was stamped in Basic Brown and Pink Pirouette was added from a reinker and blender pen. The felt flowers are from Flower Fusion Too. A silver brad holds them onto the vanilla heart, which is then adhered to the pad cover with dimensionals.

Scalloped Love You Much card...

This Love You Much card was a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) from a demo. The card is Regal Rose (and so is the ribbon), with spots of Basic Brown/Chocolate Chip, and Very Vanilla.

The 3-heart punch lines up exactly with the stamp in the Love You Much stamp set. The scallop circle gives some "white space" around the stamped scallop image. This card has so many layers and uses so many punches, including: 1" and 1 1/4" circle punches, scallop circle and scallop edge punches, and Crop-a-dile (for 1/8" circle punching).

Love You Much...

I CASE'd this card from another demo. It uses the colors Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette and Very Vanilla. The hearts were punched from Raspberry Tart designer paper and stuck on with dimensionals.

I love the Pretties Kit flower. I colored it in with the Pink Pirouette reinker and an aqua painter.

I used markers (Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery) to color in the vase and flower stem.

The scallop edge punch, mat pack with paper piercer, and Rose Red marker with a ruler made the pink designer layer gorgeous!

Valentine Stamp-a-Stack projects...

Louise (aka Kim) had a Valentine Stamp-a-Stack on Sunday. Her customers enjoyed making two each of these cards, which used stamps from these sets: Love You Much, Boatloads of Love, Always, A Happy Heart, as well as a variety of accessories ranging from mini library clips and chunky glitter on sticky hearts to the 3-heart, scallop edge and spiral punches, a variety of ribbons and designer papers, heat embossing.
I'm in the mood for love....

Flower Fusion Too & Candy Lane paper...

This 6" x 6" brag book page of my sweetie features a 4" x 4" square of Candy Lane designer paper, layered on textured Pink Pirouette card stock.

A fire circle rhinestone brad (pink) sits in the middle of two Flower Fusion Too flowers that are adhered with a dimensional.

There's a knotted piece of 1/4" Chocolate Chip grosgrain at the bottom.

I love simple layouts because I feel it draws more attention to the photo, which is where you should be looking.

Also, I can easily add more photos to make this page the featured item on an 8 1/2" x 11" scrapbook page or a 12" x 12" page.

My Memories Club is up and going. We make two 12" x 12" spreads each month, or you may purchase a kit each month for $10. You can finish an entire album by the end of the year.

Now that's an accomplishment!

Echoes of Kindness...

Echoes of Kindness is truly a beautiful set. If you can, I suggest placing a $300 order to get this Level 2 hostess set FREE. *smile*

The main image here is stamped in Basic Black ink on the front of vellum, and colored from behind with a blender pen and Not Quite Navy ink pad. It lays over a Very Vanilla layer, where the sentiment has also been stamped in Basic Black.

The top corners of the vanilla layer were notched with the ticket corner punch. I used a paper piercer and mat to make the holes for the vanilla brads (found in the hodgepodge hardware kit).

It's a simple card, and one that could be used for a sympathy, get well, thinking of you, or any other occasion, really.

Raspberry Tart Sweet Stems...

The Top Note die from Sizzix adds a touch of elegance to any card layer, as shown here with the Raspberry Tart designer paper.

I used Sweet Stems stamped in Basic Black ink, and colored in with Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss pads and an aqua painter. The images are punched with the 1 1/4" square punch, then layered in Riding Hood Red with the 1 3/8" square punch.

And if you haven't felt the smoothness of the Kiwi Kiss/Very Vanilla satin ribbon, you're missing out! It's like butter....

The "happy birthday" comes from the stamp set Bitty Birthday. It's punched out with the Word Window punch. I've been doing that a lot lately!

January scrapbook club...

I'm excited to start a new Memories Club Saturday with these two January pages. They use the snowflake paper from the Ski Slope designer series pack in the Holiday Mini, as well as textured Riding Hood Red card stock.

I layered small and large snow flurries (also in the Holiday Mini) on top of each other, and added a circle brad in the middle for a fun accent.

The title was stamped with the Contempo Alphabet in Baja Breeze. The "09" is from Short Order Numbers, with a silver hodgepodge square label holder around it.

Zoofari bird card...

The birds from the stamp set Zoofari are so whimsical! I stamped them three times on a 2" x 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock and layered it on Kiwi Kiss card stock, then colored in the birds with Q-tips and Stampin' Pastels.

There's Kiwi Kiss/Very Vanilla satin ribbon knotted around the top two layers. The sentiment is from the stamp set Family Phrases. It was punched out with the Word Window punch and attached to the satin ribbon with sold gold elastic cord.

The More Mustard dsp came from the hostess Level 1 Patterns Pack Designer Series Paper. It's layered on top of a textured 6" x 6" square of Baja Breeze card stock, folded to make this 3" x 6" card.

This card was CASE'd from the new Spring-Summer Idea Book & Catalog. I've received several boxes of new catalogs, so I hope to see you soon since we can start ordering from it Monday, January 19!

Happy Heart Day...

If you have lots of scraps hanging around, try something like the paper strips on this card.

I grabbed this idea out of the new Spring-Summer Idea Book & Catalog 2009. The sample in the book had polka-dotted Rose Red designer paper, but I didn't have enough of that, so I used this little flower pattern.

Happy Heart Day is a stamp set that works for many different kinds of cards - love, birthday, Valentine's....
This card is Pink Pirouette, with a 3/16" strip of Close to Cocoa, a 1" strip of Rose Red dsp, an Old Olive scallop circle (using only 6 of the scallops), and some 1/4" Old Olive grosgrain ribbon. The image was stamped in Basic Gray ink and punched out with the 1 3/4" circle punch. The butterfly was colored in with a Rose Red watercolor crayon and an Old Olive marker.

Love Owl-ways...

Before the Holiday Mini stamp sets are no longer available (January 16), I wanted an opportunity to play with the stamps one more time. This card uses some Frosty Day designer paper (also in the Holiday Mini), along with the Love Owl-ways stamp set.

This images are stamped in Basic Brown and colored using a Bashful Blue marker and an aqua painter with the Riding Hood Red ink pad.

The saying was punched with the Word Window punch, then I added two Ruby Red brads and popped it up with dimensionals.

A Riding Hood Red striped grosgrain knot completes the look.

Bugs & Kisses...

This is our last post for a few days. Both Kim and I are headed to Orlando, FL, today for Stampin' Up!'s Leadership Conference. We can't wait to share everything with you when we get back!

This is the fifth card from my birthday card stamp-a-stack Sunday. It uses the ever-versatile stamp set Bugs & Kisses, along with Summer Picnic designer paper (only available while supplies last - it won't be available after Jan. 18).

I used the scallop edge punch on a strip of Old Olive card stock and adhered that behind the designer paper. Then I added a 1/4" Real Red grosgrain knot.

The bugs were stamped in Old Olive, Creamy Caramel and Real Red inks. Markers of the same colors were used on the words.

This is a card I would send anybody - young or old, male or female!

Get out there and have fun with your stamps. And have a great week!!!

Party Hearty...

This birthday card uses Certainly Celery and Pacific Point card stock and ink pads, and the fun stamp set Party Hearty.

The medallion was punched out with a 1 3/4" circle punch, with a silver brad pierced through the middle. There's also paper piercing on the Pacific Point strip. The medallion is adhered with dimensionals.

The designer paper is from the Green Tea pack, which is only available while supplies last.

Best Wishes & More...

If you want a versatile stamp set, look no further than Best Wishes & More. The bird was stamped in Ballet Blue ink (which is the same color as the main card), and punched out with 1 3/4" circle punch.

A 2" x 3" piece of Creamy Caramel card stock with rounded corners on the left is adhered to the front of the card after threading an Earth Element button with Creamy Caramel gingham and knotted.

The sentiment comes from the On Your Birthday stamp set, which is great for all of your birthday cards! It's stamped in Basic Brown ink.

All Holidays & Green Tea paper...

Baja Breeze is a gorgeous, muted color. I used coordinating Green Tea designer paper on top of a Baja Breeze card with striped Baja Breeze ribbon knotted around it.

The All Holidays sentiment is stamped in Baja Breeze ink on Whisper White card stock, and the corners taken out with the ticket corner punch. That layer is stuck on with dimensionals.

Since this card was part of my Birthday Card Stamp-a-Stack, the birthday greeting is inside the card.

Nature Silhouettes birthday card...

This is a man card for tomorrow's Birthday Card Stamp-a-Stack. It uses Nature Silhouettes and the greeting set, On Your Birthday.

This card idea came out the catalog. The colors and hemp were used as a Nature Silhouettes sample... on a box. It's a good reminder to look at all of the stamped ideas in the catalog as different items, maybe with different colors or different stamps. It's a motherlode of inspiration!

Colors used here: Naturals White, Not Quite Navy and Close to Cocoa card stock; Mellow Moss and Not Quite Navy ink.

Upsy Daisy thank you...

I'm grateful to be starting a new year. There are so many hopes, dreams, goals ahead of me. I wish you and your family a year filled with much love, peace, happiness, and good health.

This is Card 5 from my Thank-You Card Stamp-a-Stack last Sunday. It uses a couple of strips of Urban Garden designer paper, striped Baja Breeze grosgrain, two silver brads, a ticket corner punch and two terrific stamp sets, Upsy Daisy and Thank You Kindly.

As you might've realized, I used three of the four stamps in the Thank You Kindly set. It's a terrific bargain at $13.95US.

Happy New Year!
